Studying at college to gain an A licence equivalent qualification while also gaining hands on experience with aircraft to both help learning and gain on the job hours of work for future licencing.
I have both learnt and developed lots of hands on skills when working on the job as well as developing theoretical knowledge when learning off the job at college.
I am enjoying on the job learning so much, everyone at the company has been so inviting and my immediate colleges are great people. However, the college has not wowed me in their level of teaching and their organisation.
TUI have created a brilliant programme that I believe is being let down slightly by the training provider by a lack of experienced teachers that are able to convey information in a clear and concise way.
The have provided me with loads of support and have answered any questions that I have.
They are extremely willing to help and give support where they can but have a lack of tutors that can convey their content in an engaging manor.
I am able to convert classroom knowledge of aircraft systems to the work that I do in the hanger, on the fleet of aircraft.
The company always sends emails out about charity events such as cycling and other activities that I could get involved with
Yes
They are a fantastic employer that care for their staff and they do everything they can to let me succeed. They want me to pass and give me all the help that I may need.
Make sure you fill up the word limits on the application to show yourself off the best you can.
