Learning and working in the ward, supporting nurses and been the link between nurses and the HCA. Medication, patient care, toileting personal care, health and wellbeing of patient monitor, vital sign.
Yes. Recognising deteriorating patients, communication skills. Time management, managing workload, working as a team and leading the team.
My level of enjoyment would have been massive if the nurses and work place understands my role or interested in learning my role. But so far, I would say average.
It's a nurse program so lots of things are still been change and adapted too.
Fairly enough. But hard to get work sign off and then taking me serious.
