  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently in retail, so my day starts with calling customers who have come into store the day before to chase them up about potentially booking a holiday. Once that is complete we have to open the bureau and sort the foreign exchange out to make sure there is no wrong doing. then throughout the day speaking to customers who come into the store

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • very well, we know almost two years in advance when our university weeks are going to be, so we are able to plan our work day to days well ahead and we change roles every September, however the roles are suited to what the business needs so we may not know that until a couple of months before starting

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • as mentioned before, if we are ever stuck on assignments we can either call them or email them and their response times are very quick and we are then able to get on with our work again. The main lecturer is very useful in cascading information when we need it.

  • In the university we get so much knowledge that i am then able to take back to my role and carry out. through this i can then relate it back to my university assignments. Through applying my learning to my day to day role I can then tick of some ILP competencies
