Repair,Maintenance and operations of the high output kit within Network Rail.

Learned and developed new skills while doing the apprenticeship.

I like the hands on side of the apprenticeship and being able to transfer these skills to my existing learning. This also contributes to tackling on site challenges which has given me the skills to make better decisions.

At first it seemed that it was a little disorganised, as this was a new apprenticeship scheme for high output. We started a few months later than the students in our year, but the college accommodated this and helped us to catch up.

Its quiet hard to answer this as im split between operations and Maintenance. My current full time roll is within operations, but the apprenticeship is heavily maintenance based, and this can sometimes cause conflict between both departments as well as putting pressure on myself.

Ntar have been good with supporting myself through the apprenticeship, and have always been there if I need advice.

This qualification would help me fill in the skills gap that I had recognised before doing the apprenticeship, and give me more confidence while carrying out my role

At network rail we work UK mobile, so it would be hard to join extra- curricular activities.
