My job involved delivery which was driving round nearby towns and villagers which suited me, and AO. To be honest, it was one of my first jobs so I didn't really expect much. It was great though, as I delivered to many houses, and most customers were really happy when I delivered items to their door, with a smile. I think AO benefited off me because I am making their company more reputationable. The packages were quite easy to lift up, and move around, so it was a win, win either way!
I learnt different things, really. How to talk and communicate with a team via a phone to deliver certain packages, and items. I learnt how to use the controls on the AO delivery devices, which the customer has to sign to approve the package. It went really well though, so I am quite happy. But, some stuff I did know they re-taught me, but it was handy as a recap, just in case.
I enjoyed my work experience greatly! It was my first time volenteering for an actual big company such as AO. They wanted me to deliver it as fast as possible though, which is understandable, thinking that AO is known on a large scale worldwide. It was really nice working for them, and I did learn different things.
Well, sometimes it was all over the place. Sometimes, it was haywire trying to find the place the customer wanted me to place it into e.g. their front door, the back. It was well organised though on where I went and what houses I went to. They must have delivered to heathfield before, because the parking spots were pretty easy.
I learnt quite a bit. I didn't learn a lot, but I learnt a bit. I liked seeing how the whole system worked, and how my part really effected the whole process. But, I got the finished product, not the actual first beginning product. But, I got part of the process!
It sort of did, sort of didn't. I don't want to do this job in the future, it was only experience work to be honest but it was really good. I really liked doing the job, but I would like to take a computing degree not this job.
Yeah, but there was a fee for VAT, and tax and stuff so I didn't get all the money. But, I did get the majority of the credit which is great. It worked really well, and they paid me easily through Pay Pal. It was great, and they payed me easy.
Yeah. I did meet a few other people volunteering for the company, and they were pretty nice. They all had different backstories which was really good, and it got me experience getting to know them all. I didn't really get in good relantionship with existing staff though, but they were friendly.
Yes
Because AO is a great company to work for in getting first experience to work for another future company. It lets you get the basics right before you start a real future career. AO teaches you the basics before you get further to the advanced stuff. They are great though!
Do what they say, pretty much. I ignored some people that already worked there for advice, and to be honest, I wished I followed it. AO give you good tips and my advice is to follow them, and be respectful to other clients. They are really nice, so you gotta be nice back to them!
