This involves everything from day to day cold calling - account management for primary schools, collages and high schools when looking to purchase IT. I have to be confident with calling, meetings emails, personal marketing and self Presentation when dealing with both old and new customers
Yes I have learnt a lot of new things since starting this programme. Something I feels developed exceptionally would be building my self confidence as it can be scary walking into a corporate office for the first time and getting a real world job. Coming from being and estate agent I thought I would find this easy but it took some getting used to
I enjoy the programme a lot. We have in the past been on lots of meetings and made lots of friends and new experiences. including lots of trips to different offices across the country, Events and being able to stay in lovely hotels and being overall looked after by the company and being given free iPads when going to the Apple HQ!
The programme is very well structured and organised. There is a team run by Lois and uses all here time to directly help people Within the development and learning apprenticeship team. She also works with a learning and development team who directly help the whole company. They are really helpful
There is a lot of support that we receive from our employer. There is a team run by Lois and uses all here time to directly help people Within the development and learning apprenticeship team. She also works with a learning and development team who directly help the whole company. They are really helpful
Our training provider is very helpful and supportive with the course. Russ from Remit is always available for a call and on his emails 24/7 meaning that we can always get help if we have any questions regarding the work we are currently doing. We always get support from Debs who helps with the direct sales side of things .
I feel that the qualification through the training provider (Remit - It technical sales) is very helpful gauge a good knowledge of the industry and how we can help better our customers experience in the long run rather than just making quick sales and taking advantage of customers we are able to add value
There are lots of social activities that we take part in across the company. And example of this would be a recent football match within the Manchester office at a local pitch. The Marlow office recently had a rugby match with a team from HP where the whole office attended and raised money for charity.
Yes
I would recommend this to a friend Becuase I feel it has been very helpful and added lots of value to my life. Not to mention the fact that the basic salary is 15 thousand pounds per year and lots of opportunity to earn large amounts of commission within this (£1,000-,£4000+ per month)
I would say that going off Softcat’s business’s model - work hard play harder and be nice and friendly with everybody as everybody is really nice and genuinely wants to help. We have lots of culture which encourages you to want to work harder and play just as much in your own time with colleagues outside of work!
