  • My role was an auditor and some day to day tasks include rolling forward, test of details, audit of notes and helping the team complete EGAs

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have become more confident, I have learnt how to use Aura and complete EGAs, I have also learnt new formulas in excel such as a VLOOKUP which helps with the mapping of a trial balance

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement as I was able to do actual audit work which helped me to understand what auditors actually do. I also met a lot of lovely people that I am looking forward to seeing next placement

  • It is quite organised, I have been available for work a few times but the majority of times I have been available, I have been given work to complete

  • There are a variety of people around who are happy to take time to support me with my work, even if I'm not on the same job as them

  • Lots of support, we get intensive training weeks and revision sessions

  • It gives me the foundation knowledge that it required to complete my work.

  • Yes, new joiners day, quiz's, christmas party, football and more
