  • 1. Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:
  • Rotating around different departments in the business for 3 days, for example Consulting, Actuarial and Deals. Towards the end of the day we had webinars about employability, career options with PwC like apprenticeships, graduate programmes, Flying Start degree etc. We also did a group presentation at the end.

  • 3. To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?
  • I rather enjoyed it, when I was actually doing work I found it very interesting even if it was simple tasks. However sometimes my buddy didn't have a structured plan. However that was only for a short period of time. I enjoyed getting to know the other students.

  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
  • I learnt a lot about the company culture just by being there. I could see how flexible the work is and how attractive the working environment is.

  • It made me realise what other options there are, apart from university. It gave me an insight into all the different school leaver roles there are available at the business. It has made me a bit more unsure.

  • Yes I was paid.

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • Yes due to the buddy system I met them, as well as other employees on the team. I also spoke to other employees outside of the Bristol office via the phone/video conference.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Everyone is very friendly. There is a broad range of jobs available. The working environment is very nice with the office making you want to stay there as it is very modern and clean. The flexibility helps you work around your personal life.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Be yourself and do some research before so that you have a bit more knowledge about the business.
