Working with a client and looking at their systems to look at system stability. Tasks include planning, automation, and analysing plus more.
I have learnt basic programming in Java and have developed more conifdence in the work place which has also reflected outside of the work place. I have learnt about salesforce, performance engineering, and general work life practices in the city.
I find the programme okay. The first year of University was similar to my A levels in computing. My current role I will not do again as I don`t believe it is for me, however inside Accenture you can control your career and acquire a diverse range of knowledge.
The programme for University is well structured. Inside the work place there is structure but because everyone is so busy it is sometimes common to get lost in the company at the start unless you are procactive.
There is a lot of support avaliable it is just if you as a person want to use it.
There is a lot fo support and then University lecturers are always there to answer your questions and help you achieve.
At the moment I have not used any of the academics I have learnt at University, however it helps you think in the workplace when a problem needs to be solved and it gives me the options to go into roles which use this knowledge.
There are loads of activites to get involved in within my workplace.
Yes
I would recommend this company as it allows you to build a wide variety of knowledge up and will allow you to find what you want to do in the IT sector. Only thing I would say is the work hours can be long sometimes.
Be prepared to be proactive. You will have to work overtime sometimes and you will have to go to after work events and socialise if you want to get higher up in this company. If you let yourself be known and have a voice you will do well.
