  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • unfortunately we can never decide on an event to go through with, or we don't get as many people involved as we should so not many people go. we often send out emails regarding votes with different nights out for the office. most people don't reply to the emails or when we get replies we price up how much it would be to go on these nights out and as soon as we send the prices we get no replies back

  • 9a. Would you recommend JN Bentley to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • JN Bentley have been an amazing employer. I had to have surgery in Jan 2019 and they were supportive of that. I have had some medical problems which have regarded time off and they have been helpful with that. I have also needed support during my role and I have had an amazing amount of support throughout my apprenticeship and I can only hope it is onwards and upwards for the company.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JN Bentley?
  • be sure your job description is the type of job you would like. make sure the mentor you have knows they are just a mentor and not a boss. and also to make sure you are going to be doing what the job description says. I would also say to make some friends on the induction day as It has helped me. I now work with 4 of the people I went on induction with and they are some of the nicest people I have met.
