My experience involved, workbooks. Which I needed to work through and get them checked. A lot of phone calls and assessments over the phone. Answering Questions. Some of it was watching me work and they would tick stuff off when I did them. Making sure not only did I know my job speaking wise but actually doing it also.
I got to do my leave 1 maths and improve on that which is areas I struggle with. Got do to level 2 English which I really enjoyed. With the work books they made me look in to certain topics in more depth. Things you wouldn’t necessarily need to know just by working .
I absolutely loved it. To the point I was asking for more work books to do. Always looks forward to the phone appointment to be able to tick more things off. I loved doing my maths and English and I wanted to Carry on and do more levels with that. Also want to progress to level 3
Was ok. There was a lot of it where I didn’t get actually one to one with a person. I was waiting for new trainer for a long time. But pushed myself into my work books and looked forward to every phone call to keep on track with my progress. Didn’t want to waste any time
I learned a lot. I really enjoyed doing the whole course and really wanted to progress on to level 3. Hopefully in time. Doing all the learning I knew I’d love to become a team leader. I like my job I do. So I’m time I’d like to take it further. And lifetime training was very good.
It helped so much. By being able to do the course. It have the Power to think I don’t just need to be a waitress. I could move up in time. Being able to better in my maths English was good. Maths I always struggle with so the 1 to 1 teaching was really helpful.
I wasn’t paid for any of the meetings I had. But I would try and set them up before work. So I wasn’t travelling to work just for the training it was for work also. Plus they needed to see me work some of the time anyway so I guess in some of I was being paid while doing my course. I’d have to go over and take notes of notes of them and sign things.
Yes. I met tutor to help with my English. There was another girl in my job doing her level 3 so we would chat sometimes and she would help me with the questions if I got stuck. The trainer of the phone. I never met her but she did a lot with me before getting my new one. We covered so many books.
Yes
It is a good company to work for. If they see something in you. Your manager will put you forward for this extra training. You just have to show your willing work and learn new and exciting things. A good team to be able to work with. Glad I went there.
Show your willing work. Make sure your clear with the hours you can work and the availability you can do. Show your willing to learn new things and work well as a team aswell. It’s all about team work when working in a pub, be clear with the hours you can do.
