  • Working on a bar, cleaning, taking orders, handling money, bottling up, working with the public, making drinks, laying tables, resetting tables, oraganising menus, cleaning outside, cleaning inside, hoovering, handling food, helping on carvery, oraginisinh cakes, helping in the kitchen, cleaning the kitchen, hassaping sauces and food in the kitchen and on the bar and lots more.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learning a whole new set of skills within my apprenticeship like learning how to make liquor coffees, changing barrels, changing tapping and line cleaning the ales, stock rotation, different service styles, what to do in different situations and how to fix them and a lot more different skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed my nvq as I met [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who was my tutor and was lovely who helped me out a lot and taught so many new things, I also got to know a few of my work colleges a lot better as we were all working on the same course.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was great and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] worked round my work and home schedule she made sure I understood everything that we was learning and even changed the computer screen couloirs so that I could read them easy, she also was always helping me through email when I needed help with anything.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We received a lot and got days off for our Nvq’s when needed, chris the manager at barley farm dining and carvery part of Greene king helped so much and if we needed anything was more than happy to help with anything at all I really enjoyed doing the course.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I revived so much help with my nvq and really appreciate all the help that I received off my managers, Greene king and other people on the course I learnt so much and am very very very excited to do the next level part of the course and progress.
