  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I do work in computing. I go in and I turn on my laptop. After I do this I check if everything is running smoothly. Then I have a daily stand up. After this I go and do work which is assigned to me. My role overall is to develop applications depending on clients demands

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my program a lot. The university aspect can be seen as dull in comparison to my daily work. But this is fine as a university degree is a formality and the things I learn in my day to day is what matters as it it let’s me demonstrate my creativity and capability

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program is fairly well organised. I know what is required of me and what needs done and when for. However the university aspect can’t be helped but the structure of that is what let’s down my experience but this is my main concern. Despite this I thovujtly enjpy working in this manner

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I revive support in the sense that I have people that can help me. Howvwer simce I’m working so much I don’t get so much time fo so pressing university work which isn’t great but can’t be helped by the company as it’s down to the university in how much they provide. Perhaps a weekly time out for half a day to catch up with university work

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training I revive is form a university. And I don’t believe I’m learning as much from the university as I work a lot more from the industry that is relevant. The university environment is out dated and doesn’t help further my knowledge in any aspect and can be seen as a burden, learning from such an outdated source
