  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Going into the programme things are not clear but that is because they keep it generalised due to the large intake, you have to be patient as things are well explained when you get into your role. My programme as a whole scheme is well organised, the work load at the start wasnt

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am given loads of support, as a other people in my position, people that have been through the same programme and experienced workers want to help me to develop and grow, so that I can take on more responsibility. The support I receive is brilliant, addiotnally I get a manager to help with any support I need as well as other services offered by the company. Then there is a buddy dedicated to me to help me with the study side of my programme

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get a lot of support in this expect too. As there are other people doing the programme so we can use internal platforms to communicate, as well as people who have done the programme who can give support, this includes the buddy you are allocated. Addtionally we have the day we spend towards our qualification and study time in the week too

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Extremely, since I have started the first few weeks explained a few conceptual parts of what I work with. As we have gone on I have seen how what I learnt functions with my job. I can see how what I learn is effecting the real work within networks and understand how the protocols work and are used. Additionally some units relate directly to the work I do eg cisco packet tracer
