  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I do not receive lots of support from my training provider as degrees are fairly independent so it is your own responsibility to achieve your qualifications. There are many people at your workplace who are more than happy to share their knowledge and help you with your work. Alternatively if you speak to your lecturers they will help you too.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The knowledge that I gain through my qualification is very useful for my work. This is because everything that is taught is relevant to my work. It helps me perform better in my role as it gives me a better understanding to the task at hand which allows me to work more independently

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are various extra-curricular activities that you can get involved in at work. The sector that I work in holds quarterly communication events which gives you an update of the business and time to network at a venue afterwards. There are 5-a-side football teams for various projects. There are also many project based events which gives you a chance to socialize outside of work.
