On a day to day basis I carry out many roles. Over the years I have been a part of many different projects and I have learnt many different skills and programmes.
I have learnt many different skills over my time. I have had training internal with QA and external. Learning skills such as: Java, HTML, Oracle, Big Data, SQL.
I enjoy my programme but it is not a fairy-tale. The balance of working and studying at times can be very hard.
I feel very valued and find that as an apprentice I am always taken care of in terms of training and respected like any other employee.
Over the years the structure of the programme has improved a lot and I find that it is very structured in terms of working, studying and have time off for holiday and study leave.
We do not receive a lot, the studying is very independent but we are given a lot of resources from our training provider.
I always receive training from my employer in every project.
For the hard work we do, it would be nice to get paid a little bit more. the first 2 years the pay wasn't the best, it has slightly got better this year.
Yes there are always opportunities to get involved in training or charity or social events outside of work.
