  • My role is a trainee engineer on the fibre and network delivery side of the business. Day to day life involves different types of fibre work including splicing cabling and exchange work

  • Yes I've learnt how to splice fibres but still need a lot more training

  • Learning new things when I have work to do

  • Sometimes I feel valued when i complete jobs but other times I don't feel valued and think sometimes we are forgot about

  • Not very organised as I joined on the retro build programme which was a new thing when I joined and unfortunately it failed and after this there has not been much work to participate in so my learning has suffered by this

  • Although the training hasn't been perfect my training provider offers 100% support throughout

  • Been on the traineeship it is a good wage and I can manage my costs with it so yes it's good

  • Yes

  • Because it is the best firm I've worked for and looks after its employees

  • Come into the business open minded but definitely apply as it is a good job when everything goes right
