  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt all new skills, because I had no previous experience in this kind of job and my apprenticeship helped me develop them as I was fully trained throughout the whole year, learning the majority of the jobs done on a production line.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Mulberry?
  • I feel valued because as an apprentice I was very well looked after, I was already part of the team, being involved in the production lines quite soon after I first started.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Both working at the factory and at college was balanced well and we had plenty of time to complete the course. Due to the change of my apprentice trainer near the end of my course I feel like I could have learnt more in the time scale, but have done very well since then.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I was looked after at the start of my apprenticeship very well, but near the end when the handover of mentors / trainers took place we were left a bit to carry on by ourselves.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The apprenticeship pay at Mulberry is much better than most other places and was enough for me only because I was living at home with my parents still. For my age I think it was decent and has gone up a good amount since I started.

    7/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • The company puts on loads of events outside work including two big work parties in summer and at Christmas which everyone enjoys.
