  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • For my apprenticeship, I move around departments in the business for 3-6 month placements. During these periods, I network and get to know the range of teams around site, as well as learn what they do, to gain an overall appreciation for the many roles the company needs. I get to manage my own work load in each placement and add value to each department.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is the best decision I have made in my life so far to get an apprenticeship here and it is worth missing out on going away to university. Earning and learning!

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MBDA?
  • Don't be afraid to show your personality, people need someone good to work with, not just someone who's clever. Smile! Don't be intimidated by employees, remember these people are just regular mum's and dad's outside of work so they aren't going to bite you. Take the risk and lead, be confident (or at least pretend, they don't know!).
