  • Most days at MBDA are different, with a lot of responsibilities.

  • I have been on 3 placements so far and each placement has presented a new skill set.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my experience as I constantly have something to do so I am never bored.

  • The program is very organised with a placement plan in place to see where I am going over the 4 years.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There are numerous support systems at MBDA, with your line manager or you HR manager and even wellbeing support systems internally and externally available.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I am on day release once a week, getting in contact with my lectures and tutors is very easy but getting in contact with people who run the programmes can be very difficult especially if there are concerns.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • A lot I have learnt at university I already apply day to day in my role at work.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are lots of opportunities for extra-curricular activities, though myself I haven't done many I know many people who have and have seen the various options.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • MBDA is what I envision best about a company, even though the days can be stressful there is always something to do that will fit you when you wish, especially with dynamic working hours.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MBDA?
  • Be passionate about what you want to do within the company as they look for someone who is keen to learn new skills while applying it to what you are passionate about.
