  • I work with clients on a day to day basis providing key and meaningful audits of financials.

  • My knowledge has increased greatly since this job, the exams I go through benefit my technical understanding of general accounting principles and the work experiences also helps me to develop my people and life skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Whilst the programme is rewarding and the people I work with are fantastic, it is hard. The hours are long and it's tough to keep a positive and flexible work life balance.

  • If you work hard and put the effort in you will feel valued, it is worth putting the time and effort in for this.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Sufficient support and help is available for each area of my work, including studying. It is very well planned out.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • The training provider has been good so far. No real problems, but I haven't had too many struggles with the training thus far.

  • The employer can be very understanding and is very willing to help with areas in which I may be struggling within work.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • So far the salary is more than enough to meet my costs, and each time I work away at a clients location all expenses for food, hotels etc. are paid for.

  • The opportunities are there if you like sport, other than that there isn't too much.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The people that you will work with are very kind. And it is a great way to get into accountancy.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Try and be positive, don't complain so much about the work or long hours, just remember that there is always support if you need it.
