Alot. at the moment i am based in a model shop where i am learning to use tools and take apart different parts or various cars, last week i was learning how to fibreglass and the week before that i learnt to sew a leather seat.
as aformentioned i can now take a car apart, put most of it back together, i can lay fibreglass and sew leather seating. I have also learnt how to use a GOM scanner along with the software that accompanies it.
very much, i love practical work and i receive a lot of support.
i feel very valued as an employee at jaguar land rover, they give me all the help i need, both with work and any personal matters i may have.
my programme is quite structured, all of my placements are planned out 1 year in advance, but there may be some changes or adaptations which is understandable.
I have a manager that overlooks all of my work and will regularly check on my progress as an apprentice. in every placement i have a team leader that will delegate work or training to me.

AMAZING!
every year every JLR employee is offered an employee learning scheme, this is £200 provided by the company to go out and learn a new skill, whether a musical instrument or driving lessons.
Yes
its great, i have money, i'm not starting my life off with debt and i receive a degree.
Be prepared to work hard, but its worth it.
