  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day began communicating with managers and other senior members of staff which appointed me to a particular section of the store. From here, I was trained by a more experienced member of staff so that I could begin learning the ropes of each department.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have been trained on the item lookup scanners, which have the pricing and location of items within the store. In addition to this, I have built my confidence and customer service skills whilst training on the ship floor. It was great to meet new people every shift I was in, as the team was so extensive. It was great making conversation with people from all walks of life.
