  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I started an Advanced Level Apprenticeship with Perkins Engines and started as a HR Trainee. I had 2 placements - one in HR Operations and the other in HR Policy and CSR activities. The placements gave me a great insight into how a HR team operates and what type of activities were involved. For example, I was involved in lots of HR Admin activities from data analysis to process family leave requests. In addition, I got to be a part of a number projects which helped to develop my skills.
