  • Software Engineer Lead. I am a technical retail consultant working with numerous clients such as M&S, Mothercare and Kingfisher implementing complex planning solutions

  • I have gain certification in JDA for both Space Planning and Enterprise Planning for retail companies. I also have completed level 4 city and guild qualification and am currently going my degree at Aston university.

  • I enjoy the programme and the responsibility that i am given within my team and the progress i have made within the organisation

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Capgemini?
  • I feel very values by the company and the team as i am now leading developments projects and advising on design ideas

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is reasonably well organised however the Uni at aston are not very organised - results take a long time to get returned. The internal team are ok however are very slow at sending out details dont keep us in the loop

  • The training at the university is average and depends on the lectures as to whether the module is good or not as some are excellent and some are very poor

  • I receive plenty of support from my team and mentors and feel that i am given everything i need to succeed

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary increases nicely and covers my cost adequately allowing me a good quality of life.

  • We always go on team building events around the uk and europe. so we get plenty of opportunities

  • Yes

  • Great atmosphere and you are not belittled because you are an apprentice as far as they are concerned you are just the same as everyone else


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Research Capgemini and their competitors to ensure that you understand their competitors and their market that they compete in
