  • Day to day I am part of the assurance team and carry out a range of services at the client site- ranging from external audit, internal audit and other types of assurance work

  • Yes- I have learnt about leading myself, coaching those around me and understanding the finance world in much more detail. i have also learnt.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed it however i think it would be better if PwC offer a more equal salary early on rather than holding us back. reason being is because we perform the same level of work, if not more, than those at our same level. Also, i think the exams could be done quicker for those who show potential rather than a 2 year wait till the professional stage (of the aca).

  • I feel averagely valued- linked to the point around pay above.

  • Fairly well structured- exam, audit coursework and work. However, could do with more college time

  • They are a leading firm in the financial industry and you;ll gain invaluable experience.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Make sure that the application process is more thorough- don't let people who didn't do well at uni join this course (as done in past) this should be specifically for school leavers. Increase the pay salary for school leavers and allow them to graduate to a senior associate when they exam qualify and time qualify- rather than merging them with another graduate intake,
