  • Directory Services Team leader. I am responsible for organising and ensuring services are kept up and running. I have 5 direct reports & the services are used by 80,000 users.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes. Since completing my level 4 in systems & networking my understanding of how IT works on an estate wide level has made me see things more clearly.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was a trail program put forward by QA, aspects could have been Improved but in the long run it has been useful.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Capgemini?
  • I am actually leaving Capgemini as the area I work in has been TUPE

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was poorly done. Several reasons for this such as no consistency with the tutors. Tutors were ill informed on the subject matter which in turn provided a poor learning experience. These issues have since been dealt with.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Little. However at the end we were given extra training to cover courses which were poorly tutored.

  • Lots. Capgemini were very interested to find out why we were provided such poor tutoring and pushed to see an improvement.

  • No issue.

  • Yes

  • I have been provided many opportunities and I find pay to be more than fair.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Prepare for your interviews well and ensure you have a positive attitude. Key points from me would be exert confidence during the process.
