  • I have been with Scottish power on a testing role since I started the apprenticeship scheme, I am a Smart Meter Tester and Co-ordinator, Executing test scripts and verifying results on the smart meters. co-ordinating with ScottishPower and third parties regarding issues found and then drive forward to resolution. Applying business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives. Ensuring all testing results are easily accessible and understandable and lastly, tracking defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many skills within the role. I have learnt how to communicate with clients, learnt the Smart metering industry.

  • I have a very well balanced team, they help me do my job better by giving me feedback. They help me to reach my potential. i enjoy it a lot as they treat me like a colleague and not an apprentice.

  • I feel very valued by Accenture, as they have given me the opportunity to study and gain very special skills which will help me throughout my career

  • The program is organised well, they give us training for the things we are not sure about. they give us support when we need it and help us to be our best.

  • They give us a lot of support by taking us in to training, they guide us when we have any sort of problem

  • Salary is okay, could be better as the daily cost for london is very high compared to what we actually get.
