  • I work as a project assistant/project manager and I am a involved in the development of new technology/apps for the tablets.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learned a vast amount of project management specific skills, as well as developing more generic skills such as relationship managing and presentation skills. Opportunities to develop are very frequent.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am enjoying the subject matter of my work as well as the interaction with my immediate team and other apprentices.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • I'm very happy at LBG.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has been well organised however the collaboration between Lloyds and learning contractors (learndirect/PDS) could be slightly better.

  • Support is available quickly and whenever needed.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Support is always available, there isn't any issues I Don't feel comfortable speaking with my line manager about.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My travel costs have increased since starting the role and my salary has not fully matched the increase. I live in Leeds which is a reasonably expensive city and so I do find it difficult on the current salary.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There is a vast amount of extra opportunities that work provides such as diversity networks, charity activities etc. I live in Leeds where there is a lot to do!

  • 9. Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have and will continue to recommend LBG. LBG looks after all colleagues and provides excellent benefits (staff mortgage, Flex benefits, cycle to work). I feel there is a huge amount of opportunity for me within Change management and the group.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Understand the culture we have here (Group values, vision etc) and have the right attitude.
