  • 4. How valued do you feel by JLL?
  • I feel very valued form JLL as my hard work and efforts are always noticed by my manager whether it is through verbal feedback or an email thanking me for some work I have done. I was also offered a small bonus whilst on my apprenticeship which also recognized my efforts. It has also previously been reiterated to clients how hard I work for them and the tasks that I carry out.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was well structured in a sense that my college days were consistent, I had support from my line manager, I had a mentor in the office who I met with regularly to discuss my progress and if I needed any additional help. I think it could of been improved by the manager contacting another office who had previously had an apprentice what tasks and things I should be doing and how the programme works for them as I feel this was not very well organized when I first started JLL.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I had monthly meetings where we discussed my progress and if I had any concerns about my role. They encouraged me to participate in online courses that were on offer to develop my skills and abilities to make me more able within the office. I knew if I needed help or had any issues then I could go to my line manger and ask for additional support.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My apprenticeship wage was more then I expected compared to some employers I know of. I could afford to pay for my rent and car and still have money left over to life. It was really beneficial that the travel expenses were paid for as this cost can add up and have quite the impact on salary/living wage.
