engineering apprentice Review

I am an engineering apprentice which involves moving around different sectors every few months giving me a wider experience learning different skills within the engineering field.

from leaving school to where I am in my apprenticeship I have had the ability to develop some exiting skills I had from school but also learn new skills from participating in different tasks. I have been to some training courses which taught me new things also.

the work in the programme is challenging at times but also can be something new and different which makes it enjoyable. the people I work with are all easy to get along with and are a good social group for breaks. the programme exceeds my expectations of what I would be doing and I enjoy it thoroughly.

I am appreciated throughout the company from all employers and employees within MBDA and I am always involved in tasks and projects also on side activities.

my programme is well organised as we were settled in by beginning at a separate centre where we completed out training after induction days at MBDA itself. the training helped me gain basic skills which are needed within the company work and made it easier to become aware of the working routine. by officially coming into the workplace a few months after training in a separate centre it was easier to settle in and I already had an insight of the work I would be beginning on.

I received a good amount of support from my training provider and they were able to assist on some questions I had with starting work at MBDA. they helped my understanding of work and skills needed for the workplace.

from my employer I receive as much support as is needed for myself as long as I request it. during reviews my employer is always supportive and understanding and has a good attitude towards supporting me for my bettering within the company, college and in general.

my salary meets my costs with a small extra sum to be able to spend or save as I currently do not pay any tax or bills at home. I do not need to pay travel costs for transport to and from work, however if I did then my salary would not be meeting my cost requirements.

there are many company events, for example the charity challenges which allow work colleagues to meet up outside of work for a social activity which also contributes to a charity of choice.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the company although I have only been in for a short amount of time yet and I believe it is good money which I am earning and it gives a good variety of skills to expand my knowledge with a college education as well.

to make sure your application is 100 percent authentic and that you are yourself in the interview. always ask good questions in the interview and don't be nervous because it is not as bad as it may seem.
