  • I was given the role to shadow of trainee solicitor in litigation and was asked to complete scenario tasks for other departments like employment and pension law.

  • I have developed public speaking and confidence within that during my work experience as I was given the chance to speak in front od a large group of people

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the programme as it has helped to provide an insight into the corporate law world which is really interesting and useful

  • I felt valued to the extent that I was included in the team I was in- so was given the opportunity to come to a staff meeting and speak and also was praised when completing tasks.

  • the programme was well structured as each day and interesting and different presentation had been organised for completion as a group- and within the departments there was stuff to do.

  • the trainee provided lots of support as I was presented with many opportunities to ask several questions on a career in law to life at uni and which subjects to consider studying

  • to have an open mind when going into different departments as it will be likely that you will encounter something you really enjoy but may have had preconceived negative opinions on
