I don't exactly have one role. As a software engineer I carry out a number of roles, most involving project/product management and technical work. (java/java script)
I have learnt skills longer than my arm. You could say Accenture has taught me all I know. The skills that have improved the most: Written Skills Communication Technical skills Professional manner
I didn't enjoy it at first as the pay was very low. (pay plays a big role)though after some experience and getting paid a better rate I did in turn enjoy the programme more.
Were valued as apprentices but I feel once you finish studying, then people appreciate you more.
Not very organised for my year. Accenture has been good in all other areas. However when it comes to this programme for the eldest year in London we have had many frustrating moments when we were not sure of what was going on.
I would say that were its needed, QA does step in. The support is very minimal. Though when they see you are struggling then there's no limit to the help they give. (been there, done that) :)
Accenture gives us just about the right support, though they could do better.
As one of the first group to do this programme in London. I must say, the pay was ridiculously low. Super, Super low. Though after many complaints Accenture has risen this for the younger years which is a good outcome if you ask me. However the money I make now still doesn't meet my needs. Without hustling outside of work then I would be more than broke per month.
I wouldn't want it anyways. (no time)
Yes
Because were amazing :) And its a really cool job. the people you meet makes everything worth it.
I would say to open yourself to anything. And try everything. And don't give up. It only gets easier (you will learn)
