1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
My role within Virgin Media is an Access Planner. This involves planning fibres to different businesses. On a day to day basis my roles would be to plan fibres to customers, plan network upgrades, answer calls and produce end to end fibre diagrams from one of our hubsites to a business customer.
2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
During my apprenticeship I have gained a lot of new qualifications, and I have taken part on a lot of training courses which has helped me gain a lot of knowledge in my new role. I have gained various skills in the telecommunications industry.
3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship programme and it has met all of my expectations.
4. How valued do you feel by Virgin Media?
I feel really valued by Virgin Media as it I feel that I am well looked after. There is a lot of internal recognition through forms of shouts, Sparkles and vouchers. And I definitely feel appreciation from my line managers for hard work.
5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
My programme is very organised and well structured, we were given a clear plan of what needed to be completed throughout the apprenticeship and how we are going to go about doing this. All training and support was given throughout.

I receive a lot of support when required with various different things. Someone is always there if I need them with anything.
7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
There are always different opportunities out of work such as charity events etc.
9a. Would you recommend Virgin Media to a friend? *
9b. Why? *
I would definitely recommend Virgin Media to a friend because it is a very good company to work for with a lot of benefits and you feel great satisfaction doing your job. Along with the above the pay is good.
10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Virgin Media? *
Don't be afraid to ask questions.
