  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills - since starting this employment I have been on a 2 week training course learning about the sector that I am working in. I had also attended a course at a local college to learn the material needed for my first accounting exam. When I started I had no accounting knowledge, hence I feel like I'v learnt a lot already!

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very structured - we get correspondance to let us know when our exams are and the periods that we will be in college. We also regularly meet with our college assessors to gage how we are doing in our course and have meetings with managers in BDO to assess and gain feedback on how we are performing on client jobs.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I believe my salary meets my costs well. I have to commute into work which means that I do have to spend a large percentage of my wages on travelling costs, however this was my choice in order to gain the greater opportunities that BDO has to offer.
