Project Controller Review

Project Controller. This involves aiding in the management of large projects, Liaising with customers and reporting on financial data.

My stakeholder management skills have been improved and my confidence to match. My computer skills have also been improved aiding me to become more efficient in my role. I have been on various training courses, funded by the company to help me tackle the day to day tasks i am set.

I really enjoy my programme, the mix of college and work is just right. I feel like i have been extremely lucky to have been offered the job at BAE Systems and will be an ambassador for the scheme.

Moving from placement to placement gives you an opportunity to experience different managers and areas of the business. So far i have felt valued and recognized for doing good work. I am consistently asked to be involved in tasks to aid the business and hope it continues into the future.

The programme is well structured and as mentioned before, the split of work and college is just right. However, the scheme has a tendency to change its format and it can get confusing sometimes.

For me, i feel that i get the right amount of support. In a higher education environment, you need to utilize the resources, they will not come to you. I always know where they are when i need them and feel they are very approachable.

Again, i feel i know where my scheme managers are when i need them. I keep in touch with them and they are always able to help at a moments notice.

My salary is more than acceptable for the job i do. I feel i am very well paid.

There are lots of opportunities outside of work, to which i have been a part of many times. They are well communicated in the workplace and always give you the option to join.
