  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work for Halifax part of Lloyds Banking Group, in telephone banking for Bank and Savings account customer servicing, this involves me taking around 80 calls a day servicing the customers account needs e.g order new card, transfer funds internally and externally, give balances on accounts and a range of other services

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned many new skills, As part of the apprenticeship program I done My English and Maths essential skills, I am also more confident in my role and have more of a profile within my organisation

  • I found this experience very very good and it developed my own self and goals

  • I feel extremly valued and feel that they have invested in my potential

  • Very wel organised, we met at the very start and the reps went through our journey and each meeting we had with our assessor we agreed our next steps

  • I recieved alot of support and it wasn't rushed, he realy was excellent

  • I had paid time off to go to my essesntial skills and had time off for my programe journey

  • Everything was paid for by Lloyds Banking Group

  • Im a very busy family man so all my time outside of work is dedicated to enjoying my family

  • Yes

  • They are a company who invest in their employees and I am proud to be part of their vision for the future


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • It is a fast working enviroment and can be quite stressful at times with dealing with irrate customers, I would adice anyone to have a calm attidute and be customer focus, they are the reason we are here
