The Apprenticeship gave me a lot of experience in retail, it covered just about everything that goes on in a store and makes you deal with the responsibilities of the team your in.
I have learnt many skills like dealing with people's needs, using tills, closing stores, making the store I'm in is safe for customers and safe for my fellow staff.
I enjoyed it a lot sometimes it got difficult keeping up with so many hours but you soon get in a routine, and you have great staff making sure you know what your doing.
I feel very valued because your at work most of the time so you get to know all the staff you work with, also when you get to know them better by the end of the course you finally become apart of the team and overall label.
It's very well organised, to the hours your given to the days you work and the tasks your given its all handled very well.
I received a lot of help from my provider, I received help from my manager and assistant manager mostly, but even my colleagues would help me and make sure I had work complete, and also my The head of my apprenticeship, helped me out.
Superdrug staff would always help me and ask me what work I had to complete or needed help with, they always made sure I completed my work within the time I had to.
The salary was fine it gave me enough to get buses to and from work, it also gave me enough for my lunch and any leftover I had to get uniform and treats for myself.
After completing my apprenticeship, I was offered a job at another store which I took and I've recieved offers from other stores to help out.
Yes
Because I feel anybody can be interested about the store what it has and sells, the staff helped me out a lot, I've always felt Superdrug was a good store to work at because it doesn't get boring.
Be confident because if. It you will struggle with customers, give yourself a routine but don't be too robotic with your actions be genuine.
