  • within the apprenticeship we as apprentices rotate around different departments within the workplace ranging from Quality Assurance to Environmental Testing on 3 month placements. within each placement, work will be assigned to you from the employees within that department in order to gain as much experience as possible with regards to the type of work being conducted in that area, whilst still leaving ample time to complete the SVQ level 3 portfolio.

  • I feel valued to the extent that when I am required to do a job as part of my team, or as part of the apprenticeship group promoting the apprenticeship or helping out with apprentice based activities, recognition from these instances more often than not comes with recognition from the efforts that were put in.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • the salary does meet my living costs nicely, however the wage itself hasn't risen in the past decade with inflation, so the salary from the 10 years ago is in essence worth more than it is today, which makes it harder for people who are living away from their parents.
