  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The induction is structured so you get health and safety mainly completed, other than dept health and safety that you will receive in all placements. The induction integrates the 1st years into the scheme. The training is good also as it you gain key skills going through different placements that you can use in all working environments. The support from the placements and training manager is great, meetings with them to make sure your on track to completing your svq3 and other college work. Studying for exams is fantastic as you get college time and work time to revise however you will have to do some at home in your free time. The mentor system is good allows you to have a meeting with them and they can look through your folder see what you have completed and mark it for you and give you feedback. The tasks start off as small jobs but once they have confidence in you, you start to get better and more interesting stuff. Team hierarchy are always coming into the dept I'm in to see how I'm getting on and see if their are any problems. The Apprenticeship program is well organised and great to apart of it.
