  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My Role is currently: Access Planning Apprentice. My day to day tasks include things such as, planning routes for new cables, visiting sites to discuss new installs with customers, being out in the field checking the routes i have planned, engaging with contractors to ensure the job is done correctly. The other side of the job is writing up the instructions on exactly hwo the job is to be carried out, health and safety requirements, and ordering the equipment required to carry out the install start to finish.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I think the Salary is just right for the job. It's good to know t here is a progressive route to increase this through skill learning. All travel costs are covered (apart from private mileage to and from work) Overall costs are very low and i have barely had to pay for anything from my own pocket.
