1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
Our role involves day to day interaction with the client asking them for information to help us audit certain areas of the financial statements and discussing any follow up issues we have with them. We then document our findings as part of our audit work.
2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
confidence and communication skills massively as we are working with much more senior members of staff and have to interact in a professional manner whilst with the client. Our leadership skills also develop when helping coach other junior members of the team
3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
we get a balance between university life and working life which we also get paid for. As we only complete short placements it is not like we are away from uni for a long period of time either. The course itself is challenging but rewarding and we get the chance to put it into practise in a real life working environment
4. How valued do you feel by PwC?
Pwc keep in regular contact with us when we are back at university and are always made to feel welcome when we first started placement as well as when we return on our following placements
5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
the university are always there if we feel like we need support which on placement and keep in regular contact with us when we are at university also. They have had previous audit experience and therefore can relate and give us honest advice where needed

everyone at Pwc is friendly and willing to help where we have questions on areas we are unsure about. We each have a people manager who keeps in regular contact with us and is there to help and answer our questions
7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
our salary is competitive for a placement salary but is quite a bit below the starting salary of an associate of which we are completing the same work as at the same level. We do however receive accommodation which is paid for by our employer which not many others companies provide to their placement employees.
8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
As we work during the busiest time of the year activities outside of work are limited however we are invited to other events throughout the year if we want to attend those
