Supply Chain Apprenticeship

Purpose of Job

  • Supply Chain Apprenticeship programme to gain experience within various aspects of the Supply Chain organisation at MeiraGTx London.
  • Rotations in key roles within Supply Chain Planning, Warehousing Operations, Clinical Supply Chain, Material/Inventory Management and Procurement/Supplier management.

Major Activities

Complete rotations in the following areas (but not limited to):

Supply Chain Planning

  • Experience will be gained in short-term production scheduling, mid-to-long-term production scheduling, long-term supply planning.
  • Coordination of multi-discplined functions to ensure readiness to manufacture Gene Therapies within our London facility.

Warehousing Operations

  • Experience will be gained in Inbound & Outbound Warehousing ops across 3 Warehouse locations.

Clinical Supply Chain

  • Experience will be gained in the management of Supply of Clinical Materials to support ongoing clinical studies at MeiraGTx.

Material/Inventory Management & Supplier Management

  • Experience will be gained in detailed MRP data & planning.
  • Hands-on experience gained in supplier management including forecasting, negotiating and influencing key suppliers.
  • Ability to make a real impact at MeiraGTx whilst completing a professional qualification.
  • Broad experience gained in Gene Therapy Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a supportive manner
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Provide support and business improvements for written procedures, SOPs etc.
  • Accountable for own Continuous Professional Development to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technical developments relevant to own area of expertise. Proactively share knowledge with all others who may benefit from it.
  • Responsible for ensuring that own work complies with GMP, Data Integrity and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and is undertaken in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that own training is undertaken in a timely and GMP compliant manner before the task is undertaken.
  • Responsible for ensuring that any GMP documentation assigned to me e.g. (but not limited to) Issues, CAPAs, Change Controls, BMRs & audit/inspection actions is closed timely and in a RFT sta
