Business Administrator Apprenticeship - Level 3

Apprentices are an integral part of our early careers talent. We’ll ensure that you get the support and opportunities you need to grow your career, learn new skills, and fulfil your potential. You will work with a personal Mentor, who will help support your continued progression and 20% of your time will be set aside to focus on learning new skills. You’ll also have access to our e-learning platform and regular learning opportunities.

We host quarterly apprenticeship events where you will meet and collaborate with other apprentices from across the business. We offer a variety of events throughout the year, ranging from celebrating different cultures to networking opportunities.

A rewarding career

Over the course of 18 months, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. This will equip you with the knowledge to deal with complex customer journeys directly, preparing you to become an expert in delivering a high standard of administrative duties her at CityFibre in our Street Works division. With a starting salary of £18,525. You'll also enjoy benefits like 25 days holiday, company bonus, a day off for your birthday, and a day to volunteer at a charity of your choice. Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will be promoted into a Street Works Administrator, with the accompanying career path.

How can you change it up?

Joining our compliance team, you’ll be providing efficient administrative support for our growing Street Works division. Some of the things you’ll be doing will include the below, don't worry, we'll teach you everything you need to know to complete these tasks successfully.

  • Assisting in the management and administration of applications, permits and noticing
  • Helping to coordinate, monitor and report
  • Liaising with local authorities and contractors to make sure payments are paid on time
  • Providing weekly reporting bespoke to each region or project

What will you bring to the role?

You’ll have a positive can-do attitude, with a drive to be able to deliver a strong administration service and you will be a good communicator and able to chat with people from lots of different walks of life. You’ll also need a basic understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, however training will be provided throughout your apprenticeship.
