Our Consulting Degree Apprenticeship

We recognise that university isn’t for everyone and we are offering an exciting alternative. Our consulting apprentices will help our clients to conceive, design and execute business solutions at the speed and scale that the new digital world demands. On this programme, you’ll develop the skills to transform our clients’ businesses across people, processes and technology.

You’ll work as part of a project team to build enduring, trust-based relationships at the heart of a client’s organisation, helping them to address their most significant business issues. You’ll get early responsibility and build your skills and expertise through interesting and challenging work. This will be focused on specific industries: Financial Services, Products, Communications, Media and Technology, Health & Public Service and Resources. Not only will this enable you to pursue your passion, but you’ll develop an understanding of the business issues and technologies applicable to each industry, enabling you to grow and play your part in delivering innovative solutions tailored to each client.

What you’ll learn

The best part is that you don’t need to have any prior consulting experience. You will start your Accenture career with a comprehensive training and induction programme where you will develop a range of skills and gain insights into working at Accenture.

You’ll develop expertise across a range of capabilities including business economics, strategic management, managing business operations, business accounting, researching business data and many more!

The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years, formal training throughout the programme is supplied by University of West London, with a combination of on-the-job training, as well as structured training & courses.

What’s in it for you

The opportunity to complete a Chartered Management degree and obtain a BA (Hons) Business Studies & Chartered Manager Status whilst gaining invaluable work experience at the world’s leading Management Consulting & Technology company. You’ll also receive training and mentoring from subject matter specialists, a strong support network of mentors & buddies, flexible study leave to manage your studies and access to a diverse range of clubs, societies, and networking groups.

In addition, you will also receive a competitive basic salary and an extensive benefits package which includes 30 days of vacation per year, access to app-based fitness classes and discounts on a range of gyms, private medical insurance and three days’ leave per year for charitable work of your choice.

Where you’ll work

You will need to live within commutable distance of your home office which will be London Fenchurch Street. Due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK. You will need to be prepared to travel and sometimes live away from home for long periods of time.

What we’re looking for

You will need to have 80 ‘A’ Level UCAS points or an equivalent Level 3 qualification and a minimum of five GCSEs including maths and English at grade 4-9 (A-C).

We look for outstanding performers, with an open and collaborative mindset. You’ll need well-rounded capabilities with a proactive, driven, and self-empowering approach. A dedicated teammate, you’ll need strong communication, project management and problem-solving skills, and high learning ability. Above all, you’ll need to be naturally curious about business and technology.

Ours is an industry that’s driven by client demand. Which means that we must place people in the industries and geographies where our clients need them most. As well as being flexible, an open mind coupled with patience is a real bonus.
