When you start at the firm you will participate in a comprehensive induction programme, which is designed to prepare you for practice and to equip you with the practical skills needed to excel as a trainee here. Throughout your training contract you will work alongside partners, associates and other legal support staff to offer an efficient client centred service. You will receive regular in-depth department training, which will give you the legal know-how needed to get stuck-into your daily tasks. You will also have support from a dedicated training team and can expect to receive 232 hours of training by the time you are a qualified lawyer.
We are looking for hardworking and well-rounded individuals who can demonstrate commercial awareness, an interest in current affairs as well as intellectual ability and creativity. Furthermore, a strong academic base, communication/interpersonal skills, drive & commitment, analytical ability, robustness and the ability to know the market place and understand clients’ needs are a must for any future BCLP trainee.
