Do you want to study towards a qualification whilst gaining on the job training and earning a salary? Then look no further and read below!
As part of our Schneider Electric Advanced Apprenticeship, you’ll get to study towards and achieve the relevant qualifications over a part-time programme whilst learning on the job. You will embark on a series of placements working alongside our expert teams, while making a real contribution to an advanced engineering & technology business. You will gain and apply practical and technical knowledge in a range of different subject areas and departments allowing you to develop personal skills while interacting and building relationships with people from all parts of the business. We provide full training which includes an induction and a personal development programme.
Our apprentice roles offer a great opportunity to gain qualifications alongside real work experience in the shop floor assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, inspection / test, supply chain & office environments. These positions will give you hands-on, practical experience. During the apprenticeship, you will have the chance to understand not only the business you work within but the wider Schneider business too.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will receive support from your manager and colleagues. However, there is a real expectation that you will be able to sustain a good level of performance in your studies along with learning about and gaining a good understanding of our business.
Learning doesn’t only happen at college, you will have lots to learn within the workplace too. You will need to ensure all your course work is completed by the stipulated deadline. At times this will mean you will need to complete assignments or course work in your own time. Punctuality is a priority for our business so you will need to ensure that you are on time for college and work.
At Schneider we are a customer focused business operating in a busy industry. We have ambitious targets to ensure we achieve success but the rewards of this are a growing business and a great place to work.
