Advanced Apprenticeship Requirements

To apply for the Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme, you’ll need five GCSEs (or an academic equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths, English and a Science / Technology / Engineering related subject.

Engineering Degree Apprenticeship Requirements

To join the Engineering Degree Apprenticeship Scheme you’ll need five GCSEs at grades A*- C including Maths, English and a Science / Technology / Engineering related subject. In addition, you’ll also need two A-Levels at grade C or above in Mathematical subjects or a combination of a Mathematical subject and Science, Technology or Engineering related subjects. A BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification or equivalent in an Engineering or Technology related discipline (180 credits with a minimum of a merit award in the maths element) will also be considered.

Finance & Accounting Degree Apprenticeship Requirements

For those interested in entering the world of Finance, the entry requirements differ slightly. You’ll need 280 UCAS points gained from 3 A-Levels, one of which must be a grade B in a numerical or business related subject (Maths, Physics, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, etc.). Applications from those without A-Levels will ideally have a 180 credit level 3 extended diploma in a relevant Business discipline (graded D/M/M). In addition, you’ll also need 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English.
