  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I support the children's learning through fun engaging activities, supporting their development and having an awareness of their needs and next steps. Following their individual care plans and ensuring their safety and welfare is paramount at all times. I also report and record such as accident forms, registers and observations. Liaising with parents at all times ensuring they are aware of how they have been.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Absouletly! I completed my level 2 with realise and they was amazing. The value of the webinars and the sessions couldn't be faulted. I absolutely loved doing my level 2 and I am so excited to learn more skills when doing my level 3 and increasing my knowledge further.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Yes I do! I am always excited to attend webinars and my monthly 1-1 with my trainer assessor. She always makes sure that I am okay and understand before moving on! I always enjoy to attend webinars as they are so interactive.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • AMAZING! They always send out structured work and have well structured lesson plans that you expect before you go in as they email/let you know before every session in advance what the plan is.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive additional training when needed, always offering support and knowledge when needed. Always ensuring I receive off the job training at least 6 hours per week, but usually more!

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Alll the support I need, I couldn't ask for more! She is always replying to messages and emails when needed and will offer more session if needed!

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • When doing face to face visits, she will always model her knowledge with the children, engaging with them and giving everyone opportunities to her learning methods!

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not activities such as listed, but we will always do work events such as bake sales, fundraising events, work meals and team building activities that benefits the setting such as meals.

  • Yes

  • I couldn't ask for a better company to gain my qualifications with! They are absolutely amazing and well knowledge and structured

  • Yes, listen to what they say and attend the webinars offered to you because they really benefit you!
