  • My job role requires certain techniques to transport a road design, into reality. it involves problem solving, communication and planning.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have learned and developed a great deal of skills, mainly communication skills and organisational skills. i have of coarse learned practical skills on site, as i am a setting out civil engineer so i have learned skills based on setting out methods.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love interracting with my co-workers and enjoy the problem solving aspect, aswell as the clear plan and focus of my goals, i also get a lot of support from my colleagues which makes my life a lot easier.

  • My programme is organised well, i have a great support system and have been given a clear structure for my development.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i recieve a lot of support from my employer, my line manager is very helpful and if i ever have a question he always has an answer. This makes work very enjoyable and stress free as i feel supported.

  • I recieve support from my training provider, and they always remind me to ask questions if i am ever confused.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Currently i havent noticed much benefit so far to my job role, but i understand the skills i am learning now will be of effect in the future.

  • yes there are, i have participated in many extracurricular activities, ivolving a charity run, and social events.
